The Venue
This year's Pangonia Handpan Festival will be taking place on a private property near Potsdam. When we first visited the beautiful location it was clear immediately: it is perfect for our small community gathering. The house is located directly at the lake and invites the handpan-community to come together and get to know each other. The property gives the option to activities such as swimming in the lake, dancing around the campfire or heating up in the sauna. All artists will perform on the intimate stage centered at the meadow. At the main building we will be cooking amazing vegan food and in the Yoga room we have prepared nice morning exercises - Workshops such as Yoga, Qi Gong and sound healing for handpan players. On the property there are caravans, bungalows and a space for tents.Camping and parking
At the venue there is limited space for tents. Showers and toilets are available. There are no parking lots for cars or camper vans. Therefore we recommend using public transportation to reach the venue. If you need to bring your van or car, you have to park your vehicle alongside the road near the next neighborhood, which is about a 5-10 minutes walk to the location. Please pay attention to not park in bulk and not to disturb people living in the neighborhood.
Camping space is limited. You cannot park your car or campervan at the venue!
Getting there
We recommend using public transportation and take a 10-15 min walk through the forest to reach the location. You can simply get there with an ABC-Ticket:
Take Bus 638 from Rathaus Spandau to the stop "Heinrich-Heine-Weg"
Take Bus 609 from Potsdam Campus Jungfernsee to "Heinrich-Heine-Weg"
The exact location and address will be provided to all participants via e-mail before the gathering.
If you have to come with a vehicle, be aware that the next public parking is at a nearby village about 5-10 minutes walk. There is only limited parking space there. Best would be to use the parking bays along the road.
Pangonia Festival 2024 is a private event to gather the Berlin community. Everyone is responsible for their own actions and will participate at their own risk.
