We are a passionate Berlin community of handpan enthusiasts, players and makers. We organize monthly Handpan meetups, workshop events, open stages and the Pangonia Handpan Gatherings 2023 & 2025 Festivals 2024 & 2026. The events bring together local and international artists, handpan makers and guests who are all invited to feel part of the community, co-creating an amazing experience.

In 2022 the idea to create a Berlin Handpan Community was hatched. Who could have imagined that this community would create its own gathering barely a year later!
The Pangonia Handpan Gathering 2023 was a shared community project by the newly created Berlin Handpan Community into which all participants poured their heart and soul.
Bringing together Berlin based artists with international musicians, Pangonia featured 14 artists playing 11 concerts, and offered 7 workshops from handpan skills to Qi Gong. Being a community effort, 25 crew members made sure that over 100 guests felt warmly welcome at the gathering.
In 2024, we transformed the gathering into a 4-day festival, where 70 people (crew, volunteers and artists) contributed all their various skills, music, fire arts and love. We welcomed guests from more than 15 countries who could learn new handpan skills in many different workshops and master classes. We are deeply grateful for all the love and effort everyone invested to co-create an unforgettable festival

In 2025, Pangonia moved to a new, bigger location next to lake Mellensee at a forest south of Berlin. There is much more space to expand,
a separate camping area, two individual stages, a fire space, a sauna space, a market, a kids space and much more!
The focus lies on you: the handpan players, so you are able to jam, connect and maybe be on stage yourself for the first time.
Be sure that some surprise guests from the scene will be there as well. Get ready for a more colorful, versatile and longer Pangonia than ever before!
